What is Timișoara International MUN?
Timișoara International Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations organized in Timișoara by a highly trained team of young people passionate about education, diplomacy, and civic engagement. The event aims to provide a realistic, formative, and inclusive experience for high school and university students.
When and where will the conference take place?
The conference will be held on 27–29 November 2026 at our host school in Timișoara. The exact venue and opening ceremony location will be announced to the delegations at a later date.
What are the participation fees?
Delegate Basic uses early-bird pricing that rises over time: 79.90 RON (Super Early Bird, 10–17 Aug), 99.90 RON (Early Bird, 18–31 Aug), 119.90 RON (Regular Bird, 1 Sep–10 Oct), 139.90 RON (Late Bird, 11 Oct–10 Nov) — your price locks in when you apply. Delegate Premium is 149.90 RON throughout. The Press Corps is free (by application), and chairing a committee is free too. Every package includes meals and the conference kit. Is accommodation and transport provided?
No. Participants must arrange their own accommodation and transport. Organizers will provide logistical information and recommendations after confirmation.
Are meals provided?
Yes — every participation package includes meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner, provided according to the conference program, along with coffee breaks during the conference.
What roles are available at the conference?
Delegate – representing the position of a state within a UN committee. Chairperson – moderates debates, guides delegates, and ensures smooth committee sessions.
How is the selection process conducted?
All applications will be carefully reviewed by the organizing team. Only selected candidates will receive an official confirmation email, including the conference agenda.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Scholarships are available for this conference.
When will we receive the full program?
The detailed agenda will be sent to all selected participants after the selection period ends.
Will preparation materials be provided?
Yes. Preparation materials such as procedural guides, committee descriptions, and research recommendations will be made available according to the participant’s role (delegate or chairperson).
